A Golden Future Together

March 2, 2005

Golden Heritage Homes and Arizona Project Challenge Foundation Raffle $400,000 Home

Who: Golden Heritage Homes (SunCor), one of Arizona’s premier homebuilders, has joined the Arizona Project Challenge Foundation to help them reach their fundraising goal. The Arizona Project Challenge Foundation was created to raise money for Arizona Project Challenge, a non-profit organization designed to help at-risk students successfully complete their high school education and prepare themselves to succeed in the working world.

What: The Arizona Project Challenge Foundation is in the midst of their $5.5 million Capital Campaign to raise money for a dining hall, classrooms, and a wellness center. Golden Heritage Homes has donated a house valued at over $400,000 to be raffled off with all the proceeds going to the Arizona Project Challenge Foundation. The house will be located in Palm Valley and the drawing will occur in October. Raffle tickets will be $100.

When: The Golden Future Together housing raffle is slated to begin on April 1st.

Where: Raffle tickets can be purchased through the Arizona Project Challenge Foundation website at www.WinThisHomeAZ.com. Tickets can also be purchased at various events throughout the Phoenix area including The Phoenix Home Improvement and Garden Show at Phoenix Civic Plaza April 1-3.

Why: A new dining room facility, wellness center and classrooms are slated to be built. Currently Arizona Project Challenge is forced to rent all of these facilities. Students must be transported three to four times a day for breakfast, lunch, dinner and activities to separate locations. Meeting this campaign goal will eliminate transportation issues and monthly costs of transportation and renting facilities.
